Pay Raises?

Did you see where President Obama "just gave Biden, Congress and the Supreme Court" a pay raise?  And that he gave it by Executive Order?  I was just about to have a hissy fit, thinking...how arrogant!...he's doing that NOW?....in the midst of a financial crisis?...can he really DO that?....does he have the authority?...

Then I read on...."Citing recessionary factors and budget concerns, Obama instituted the pay freeze (by Executive Order) in 2010."  So then I HAD a hissy fit, thinking...how arrogant!...he really DID that? ...could  he really DO that?....did he have the authority?...

As it turns out, Congress' pay was frozen along with all other federal employees when President Obama made press by doing so in an attempt to appear to give a damn about government spending.  This, while adding an average of 101 employees per day at an average of $184,000 per employee to the federal payroll..  

So I'm saying...how arrogant!...he's doing that NOW?....in the midst of a financial crisis?...can he really DO that?....does he have the authority?...
