Raising the National Debt Limit - Obama Style

You've probably heard the President say, "Raising the debt ceiling will not add one cent to the (national) debt."  Then he repeats himself, "Not one cent."

Seriously, Mr. President?  Let's just bring that concept home...  I owe $15,000 on my credit card and I have a $200,000 mortgage.  That's $215,000 in total debt.  I need a new car, so I raise the limit on my credit card and use $20,000 to buy a car.  Using President Obama's math - community organizer's math? - that doesn't increase my debt, but by all mathematical standards with which I am familiar, that does increase my debt.  It increases it by $20,000 to a total of $235,000.

The President talks to us a lot of times like we're stupid.  And I guess we must be, since I hear no outrage at such a ludicrous  claim.  It would be funny if it weren't so serious.
