War on Women doesn't work?

Michael Medved recently wrote in the Wall Street Journal that the Democrats' claims of a Republican  "War on Women" failed in 2012, so there's no reason to believe it will work in 2014?  Really?  That's hard to believe, but he has the numbers.  IHere's a look:

• Obama won the female vote in 2012 by 11 points; the same as Al Gore in 2000, but NOT as much as in 2008 at 13 points.
• Of the 72% of women voters who identified as "white", Romney won by 14 points, 56% to 42%!  
• Married women were 60% of the female vote and Romney carried them by 7 points, 53% to 46%
• Obama carried the overall female vote based on "nonwhite" women - Latina and black women, which he carried by 76% and 96%, respectively!

So it appears that Sandra Fluke's appearance at the Democrat Convention making a fool out of herself demanding free birth control didn't accomplish what they had hoped.  From a purely personal - and selfish - perspective, I'm happy.  It pained me to think that all women could be that naive or, well, just plain dumb.  And I don't believe for one minute that Latina and black women are that naive/dumb either!  They voted for Obama because he is black.

Don't expect the facts to get in the way of the "War" though.  It will continue.  President Obama's Executive Order was just an opener.
