Or is it very wrong to allow willful and knowing tax evaders to hold responsible positions in our government? It's very obvious that both Geithner and Daschle only paid their taxes in full after they realized their problem would become public. Isn't it?
I've tried to imagine they were Republicans and asked myself if I would feel differently about them and the thing I keep coming up with is that if they were Republicans, we would've kicked them out on their cans ourselves. And done so as soon as we found out! Wouldn't we?
Or is it just me?
