View the video and vote on your favorite cut to the bloated federal budget. THEN, submit your own idea on how we can reduce spending. How fun is that?! My idea was to freeze or cut the MRA (Member Representation Allowance). In January '09, when the entire country was in dire straits, congress voted itself a huge increase in their allowance - their expense budget - to fund their offices, staff AND to communicate with their constituents . . . Translation: produce campaign materials and mailings at taxpayer expense. So go get 'em!

I love this idea !!!! I vote regularly but find it sometimes difficult which cut to vote for. There are soooo many that need to be eliminated or at least reduced.
